Born 13th April 1966, Andrew Nyman is an English writer, director and actor from Leicester. His first remarkable performance was in Dead Babies, where he played Keith Whitehead. After this, Nyman soon appeared in the 2001 Emmy winner film Uprising. He was among the 200 public figures who signed a letter to The Guardian in 2014 opposing the Scottish independence following the September referendum on that issue.
In 2003, he was in the film Cone Island Baby. In 2006, he won the Best Actor Award at the Cherbourg-Octeville Festival of Irish & British Film. The next year, he starred opposite Matthew Macfayden in the movie Death at a Funeral. He appeared in BBC Four’s Crooked House, a supernatural drama series in 2008, and 2013. He played the role of “The Tumor” in the smash hit Kick-Ass 2 and young Winston Churchill in Peaky Blinders, the BBC drama. 2014 saw him with Dylan McDermott and Antonio Banderas in the film “Automata”.
