Andrei Teodor Iliescu is a Romanian actor, currently based in London. He is an acclaimed ballet dancer. Born in Constanta, Romania, Iliescu was a gifted dancer since his childhood. He started dancing when he was only 11. His ballet training began in the National College of Arts in Constanta itself. After winning the first major competition, Iliescu moved to Bucharest for further training in an esteemed ballet school at 14. He performed in his first-ever international ballet competition, ‘Prix de Lausanne’ in Switzerland when she was 17 years old. Upon his success, he was awarded a full scholarship for attending Central School of Ballet. Further, he entered the professional arena by making his West End debut with the new production of McQueen at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
