Alex Thomas-Smith is a professional singer, dancer and actor from London. They work both on stage and screen. Alex is originally from Leeds, but they moved to London at the age of 18 for their training. They started their television career when they was only 11 years old in the BAFTA award-winning CBBC drama, The Revenge Files of Alistair Fury.
Alex made their on-stage debut in the Olivier nominated musical Bugsy Malone at the Lyric Hammersmith. Previously appearing in Dear Evan Hansen, they were understudying Jared Kleinman and Evan Hansen as part of the West End cast.

They received their training at the prestigious Arts Educational Schools, London.
Theatre:
Alex’s theatre credits include the production of Vicky Gimby’s The Cereal Café at The Other Palace where they played the role of Toby; Jay Scheib’s Bat Out of Hell at Dominion Theatre where they played Tink; Charles Randolph-Wright’s Motown at the Shaftesbury Theatre where they were a Smokey Robinson understudy; Derek Bond and Aletta Collins’ Sweet Charity at the Manchester Royal Exchange where they played the character of Manfred, and Sean Holmes and Drew McOnie’s Bugsy Malone at the Lyric Hammersmith where they were an ensemble member as well as the Cover Fizzy. They were in the original London cast of Michael Greif’s Dear Evan Hansen at Noel Coward Theatre as standby Evan & Jared.

They have appeared in several television shows including DIXI (Kindle Entertainment/CBBC) where they are a regular in the role of Bubs; Shakespeare Live! (Tonight – Quintet, West Side Story) by Will Tuckett and Bruce O’Neil for The Royal Shakespeare Company and BBC 2, and the production of The Revenge Files of Alistair Fury by Delyth Thomas for CBBC where they appeared as Ralph (regular).
